How it works
How do I download the app?
To download the Scoot app, you can search “Scoot” in both the App and Google Play stores. An even simpler way to do it would be to click the relevant link at the bottom of this page and you’ll be re-directed to the correct page.
Can I find a nearby Scoots?
Yes, you can! Our app is equipped with a live map that shows you all available scooters nearby. You can use this to find and unlock a scooter near you.
Do I need a license to ride?
Yes, you do. We require all riders to have a valid driver’s license before they can rent our scooters.
Safe driving
Should I wear a helmet?
Yes, please do! All cities have different laws. But we strongly strongly strongly recommend always wearing a helmet regardless of the local laws. We like you and we want you to be as safe as possible while Scooting.
How about the rules & regulations?
We want you to be safe and to follow the rules. We expect all riders to follow local laws and Scoot responsibly. This means no riding on sidewalks, yielding to pedestrians, and always stopping at red lights.
What if I damage my Scoot?
If you damage your Scoot, please contact our customer support immediately. We will walk you through the process and help you figure out what to do next.
